Travel Essentials that make a difference! I constantly find myself in planes, trains, and automobiles which is why I find it so beneficial to always carry these items in my handbag. Travel can be difficult on our bodies and hard on our skin. Here are simple steps to stay fresh, alert and looking your best during those long travel days.

SkinMedica Total Defense + Repair Tinted Moisturizer – Sunscreen is an essential in my every daily life…especially while traveling. You never know how much time you’ll end up spending in the sun while traveling or exploring a new place. This is why it’s so so important to keep a small bottle of sunscreen in your handbag. I love this particular sunscreen by SkinMedica because it’s also a tinted moisturizer which helps to smooth out my skin tone like I’ve just applied makeup. This product is powered by an advanced antioxidant complex while containing SPF 34 and zinc! Protecting your skin against UVA and UVB rays as well as infrared rays. And to top it off, it absorbs easily, spreads evenly, and does not feel greasy.

Evian Mineral Water Spray – Yes, this is just mineral water that has conveniently been packaged in a lightweight spray bottle that fits perfectly in your handbag. This is an easy way to revitalize your skin with natural moisture. I like to spray it all over my face after a long drive or flight. It helps my skin feel and look refreshed. This TSA approved pick-me-up is free of parabens and sulfates.

Smith’s Rosebud Salve – My grandmother Margaret always used salve to treat our cuts and dry skin. So, of course, salve is a remedy that I continue to carry thru my life. I use this clean and easy tube of salve to deeply moisturize and soothe my dry lips and skin, heal irritations and cuts, and soothe cracked cuticles. This product is free of parabens and sulfates with a slight rose scent. I don’t go anywhere without this stuff! It’s a game changer 😉

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara – I always keep mascara in my handbag. The eyes are the windows to our soul right? Tired eyes are transformed with just a few swipes of the mascara wand. Such an easy way to make your entire face appear lifted. This particular mascara by Bobbi Brown is a recent favorite. It builds volume lash by lash without clumping.

YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch – This is a product that I have used for years and will continue to use for years to come. Just a few clicks of this pen shaped luminous liquid instantly brings light and radiance to the skin. I apply it under my eyes and at the top of my cheek bones which erases signs of fatigue and brightens my complexion. It truly works like magic! Like I’ve just had a full night’s sleep!

Givenchy Lip & Cheek Balm – I love this product so much that I randomly find it stuffed in jacket pockets, car consoles, and different bathroom drawers. It’s truly something that I keep on me at all times. Givenchy has brilliantly made a lip and cheek balm that contains pigments that react with the skin’s humidity to create a personalized hint of color to the lips and a delicate glow to the cheeks. In other words, depending on your skin tone, this product reacts with your personal pigmentation while enhancing your natural coloring giving you that “flushed” look. This product is extremely hydrating and volumizing. You’ll feel moisturized, plumped and beautiful!

And if all else fails, just throw on a pair of sunglasses! That always does the trick 😉

Enjoy and happy traveling!!! xoxo
