Sometimes you just need a little black outfit to make your day a bit better. All black is versatile, classic, and slimming. Plus, you can choose to dress it up or down! I’ve always loved a great pair of flared leg black slacks. Yes, even when the flared leg was considered a huge no no in fashion, I still rocked these :-). It’s a classic look and fit for most all types of women.
For this particular look, I wanted to combine chic with edgy. The black slacks paired with a crop top was an easy way to achieve this look. Now, I’m not saying I would wear this to a business meeting. I would, however, wear this out on date night or drinks with the girls. If crop tops aren’t your thing, pair your black slacks with a basic black top or a body suit. Yes…a body suit! These little babies from the 80’s and early 90’s are all over the fashion world at the moment. And, trust me, they won’t be going anywhere for quite a while. I had actually forgotten how much I loved a good body suit. Say bye bye to those lumps and bumps beneath the waistband of your pants from tucking in a bulky shirt!
This clutch handbag has been my fave for the past year. It’s the perfect size for your wallet, phone, keys, and makeup compact. And, with its sleek black design, it goes with most any outfit! Here’s the best part, I just noticed that it’s on sale! Click on the below link to make this little baby your’s 😉
Beauty tips to keep in mind when wearing all black…
Smooth on foundation evenly and apply light blush and/or bronzer. This is where you have 2 options…apply a dark, smokey eye OR a red lip. Remember, if you decide to do a dark eye, keep your lips neutral. And, when doing a red lip, keep your eye makeup very light and neutral. Whichever one you choose, you’ll be HOT HOT HOT!
